How does Botox work?

Botox works by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected. This causes the targeted muscles to relax, reducing the appearance of wrinkles caused by repetitive movements. Botox softens out the lines created by repetitive facial expressions over the years.

Botox Treatment areas :

• Forehead Lines: Excessive use of these muscles results in creases across the forehead. Procedure Details:.

-  Botox injections are administered with a fine needle, minimising    pain. Any temporary discomfort, such as minor stinging or a tiny lump at the injection site, quickly fades. Within around thirty minutes, your face should return to its appearance before the treatment.

• procedure is relatively quick, typically taking around 10 to 15 minutes and you can resume your normal day afterwards as there is no downtime.

• Your consultation will be booked prior the treatment to discuss your concerns, and whether treatment with Botox could be suitable for you.

Results and Duration :

• Botox results are noticeable within a few days, with full effects appearing after about two weeks.

• The effects typically last three to four months, after which a repeat treatment may be scheduled.

Who is Botox for ?

• Anyone who is concerned about looking tired, prematurely ageing, deeper lines and wrinkles that are not responding to other treatments or skin care regimes. There are very few people who we don’t recommend it for such as in pregnancy, but otherwise most adult men and women are suitable.
